The chosen individuals will be responsible for operating the press after placing castings into cavity and removing scrap, checking samples of parts for quality, performing visual checks for quality finish and make adjustments as required, identifying non confirming products, keeping die clear of debris, keeping track of scrapped parts.
Qualified individuals will be responsible to analyze and repair tooling and equipment, make new components or details as needed to bring tooling and equipment up to production requirements, troubleshoot miscellaneous plant equipment problems to aid in making components to improve productivity or safety, set up and operate a variety of machining equipment using knowledge of machine capabilities, properties of materials and shop practices, analyze specifications from blueprints, sketches, models, descriptions or visualizing product, Mate and assemble parts as needed for mechanisms or assemblies and use a variety of shop measuring equipment such as dial indicators, calipers, micrometers, thickness gages, etc. in the performance of tool making. High School Education is a must. Four (4) years apprenticeship or equivalent in training/experience.
Fort Recovery Industries is currently interviewing for Maintenance Technicians for 2nd and 3rd shift! This is a multi-skill/multi craft position and the ideal candidate will have 2+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining a wide variety of systems and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Those systems and equipment include but are not limited to: Die Cast Machines, Trim Presses, Robots (Fanuc), CNCs (primarily Fanuc controllers), Metal Furnaces and Launders, Vibratory Finishers, Buffers, Electroplating equipment, Machining Work Cells, as well as Building Systems.

They will have multiple responsibilities including being a contact for and provide sales and service support for customers, input, verify and confirm orders, communicate quality issues and priority lists to other departments as needed.
